PROJECT W started from a simple observation that :
Every day, millions of women step out knowing that safety is not guaranteed—it’s a gamble. Despite emergency apps, helplines, and wearables, most solutions activate after an incident has already escalated.
Project W exists to change that.
Project W is a women’s safety initiative focused on early threat escalation, real-time intervention, and social trust, not just alerts. Our approach goes beyond panic buttons and location sharing—we design systems that interrupt danger before it becomes irreversible, while staying discreet, accessible, and human-centric.
We are building Project W at the intersection of technology, design, and social responsibility, with one clear mission: to shift women’s safety from reaction to prevention.
Safety Solutions Are Reactive, Not Preventive
Most women’s safety solutions today activate after an incident has already escalated—when the victim is under stress, panic, or physical restraint.
Panic buttons require manual activation
Current systems broadcast alerts to contacts or authorities, but do not ensure immediate, contextual intervention.
At a high level, Project W is about:
This is not about monitoring people—it’s about looking out for them.
Instead of starting with a predefined solution, the work begins by listening and observing:
